The El Otro Lado installation comprises visual, audio and text-based stories of a diverse group of Albuquerque residents. It's part of the City Public Art collection and happens to be installed at the Convention Center. Using the installation, participants will be taken on a journey to experience and feel into the power in story and how, if activated in a sensitive and ethical way, this process can trigger radical beautiful trouble. We'll experience a unique process of unearthing lost and unheard stories, using deep listening skills and feeling the impact of bearing witness. Together, we'll delve into constructive conversation, move, learn to see and hear story and each other in new ways, laugh a lot, and create a new collective story.
